Mancini is a manager I have a lot of time for but like at Inter, when it comes to Europe questions were asked then regarding his tactical approach.

It is a tough group this season again for City, but the money City have spent, the quality of the players they have should be able to compete in this group. City were outplayed by Dortmund and Ajax who played around City's midfield so easily.

As Neil raised in the podcast regarding the Premier League, is a wider issue that needs to be looked at. The Premier League isn't the best league in the world, hasn't being for a while now. Ger has stated on the podcast in the past that the Bundesliga is where for the football purists is the best league and in my opinion it reflects on how well German football is doing both at club and international level.
