Part 1 sees Neil in a celebratory mood following Manchester City’s big weekend win in the FA Cup semi finals. The pod’s favourite son, Mario Balotelli, again takes centre stage before praise is lavished on Stoke City for their demolition of Bolton Wanderers in their clash on Sunday afternoon.
The Npower Championship is yet again one of the most exciting leagues around and the lads chat about the race for promotion as well as the Team of the Year which features no less than three Irish players. It’s off to the continent then for a summary of the weekend’s action from Spain, Italy and Germany.
As always, the final part of the pod looks at the Premier League and in particular the title race as Arsenal do their utmost to hand the league to United. There’s plenty of talk about the PFA Team of the Year as Tom and Ger voice their disgust at Neil’s nomination for a place in the side.
