Another week, another hectic pod, and this episode of Hold the BackPage sees Joseph Sexton join the lads again to discuss the El Clasico matches, while there’s the usual Premier League chat as well as debate over technology in football.

As Manchester United and Barcelona progress to the Champions League Final, Tom, Ger and Neil review the semi finals with the help of La Liga expert Joseph Sexton. Joseph also explain a rather interesting battle to avoid the drop at the bottom of Spain’s top division.
Part two takes on a different feel as there’s healthy debate about footballers and social media, as well as on field technology. A recent follower of Neil’s is met by plenty of skepticism from both Tom and Ger, though that may be borne out of jealousy more so than anything else.
The final part of the pod is of course dedicated to the Premier League with Sunday’s big clash between Manchester United and Chelsea getting a preview, while there’s mention of the contrasting fortunes of Spurs and Manchester City, and Ger explains why Kenny Dalglish may not necessarily be the future of Liverpool.
