First on the agenda is the Confederations Cup with Spain continuing to be the benchmark at international level. Andrea Pirlo and Neymar have two of the most impressive players at the tournament, while Tahiti captured the hearts and imaginations of many with their showing.

The Premier League is a hive of transfer activity at the moment and there’s discussion on Liverpool who have been getting their business done early, Manchester City’s decision to sell Carlos Tevez to Juventus, and how West Ham have done well for themselves securing Andy Carroll on a permanent deal.

To finish the lads go back to the beginning of June to discuss Ireland’s three fixtures which gave reason to be optimistic ahead of September’s big World Cup qualifiers against Austria and Sweden.
