Hold the Back Page, in association with SeanieMac.com, kicks off with a discussion of the current Premier League table with Liverpool leading the way after three rounds.

Manchester United’s loss at Anfield provides plenty of discussion about the directions in which both clubs are heading, while Manchester City and Chelsea continue to look far from convincing.

With the Champions League groups drawn, the consensus is that all four English team should make it to the last 16. The outlook isn’t so good for Celtic though, while Ger commits to bringing us updates on one of the groups that not many other people will be watching.

Ireland have two massive World Cup qualifiers to play over the next few days and optimism is high amongst the group that Giovanni Trapattoni’s side can get the results needs to send them to Brazil 2014.
