The Premier League makes up the bulk of this week’s podcast with plenty of discussion around Manchester City and their action packed win over Newcastle United at the weekend. Was Cheik Tiote’s goal correctly disallowed? Is Alan Pardew’s outburst that big a deal? Should a red card have been issued for the tackle on Samir Nasri?

Spurs got off the hook early on against Crystal Palace thanks to Jason Puncheon’s horrendous penalty, and Ger isn’t too convinced about their current status with Jermain Defoe having departed for MLS. Meanwhile, Paul gives his thoughts on Steven Gerrard’s role in the Liverpool team.

After the lads discuss Aiden McGeady’s move to Everton and the impact he could have, the pod rounds off by completely belittling the Ballon D’Or which was won by Cristiano Ronaldo this week.
