The lads return after a couple of weeks off and dive straight into the big talking point from last weekend’s Premier League action – Steven Gerrard’s dismissal against Manchester United.

As well as that, there’s discussion around Manchester United’s revival in recent weeks, a much needed win for Manchester City, Chelsea winning ugly, and a big turn in fortunes for Crystal Palace under the much maligned Alan Pardew.

Focus then turns to the international break and in particular Ireland’s massive game against Poland at the Aviva Stadium this Sunday.

Martin O’Neill’s side really needs three points to give themselves a chance of making the European Championships in 2016 but will a lack of goals once again hold them back?

To round off, there’s mention of the draw for the quarter finals of the Champions League, with a couple of the ties in particular proving very difficult to call.
