Hold the Back Page: Episode 2

by The Podcast

Your Hold the Back Page host Ciarán O’ Raghallaigh is joined again this week by the Irish Independent’s Neil Ahern to discuss the week’s paper talk, including some SPL players who have been linked with a move to Eastern Europe.

They’re then joined by A-League podcaster Christian Layland from the Football Sack to discuss the football league down under, Robbie Fowler and this week’s derby between Melbourne and Sydney FC.

Paddy Power’s Chris McWilliams is in the studio to discuss the Championship ante-post bets which kicks-off this weekend.

We then go nostalgic with the Sunday Tribune’s Malachy Clerkin, who is on the line to talk about his new book on the history of the recently redeveloped Lansdowne Road.

Then we speak briefly with Liverpool ECHO reporter Neil Jones regarding the recent developments of an Anfield takeover from a Chinese businessman.
