Unsurprisingly most of the talk this week is centred around two massive fixtures for Ireland against Sweden and Austria as the team aims to keep alive its hopes of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.

There’s discussion on the starting eleven picked to play Sweden, Giovanni Trapattoni’s future as manager, and the influence of John Delaney who was in the limelight again this week for an interview conducted with Sky Sports.

Willie comes up with a controversial way to improve the League of Ireland with Neil and Paul not exactly sold on the idea.

To round off there’s quick mention of Luis Suarez’s future at Liverpool and Micheal Owen’s retirement announcement. How good was he really?
