For the first time in 17 years there will be no English side in the last eight of Europe’s premier competition as Arsenal went out an away goals to Bayern Munich despite a 2-0 win in the return leg. Barcelona meanwhile staged an uprecidented comback to see off AC Milan in the Camp Nou, with Galatasary and Malaga also progressing.

Three English sides remain in the Europa League after Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle all made it through in ties that were more difficult than they would have liked.

The FA Cup is at the semi final stage now after last week’s games and there’s a look at Everton’s collapse against Wigan as well as Manchester City’s chances of finishing the season with some silverware.

It’s another important week at the bottom of the Premier League as Villa face QPR and Reading head to Old Trafford without a manager following Brian McDermott’s dismissal, a decision which baffles both Willie and Paul.

The League of Ireland started last weekend giving the lads a chance to discuss the first set of results as well as the lack of social media coverage afforded to the games by the FAI.
