Got Stats?

by Neil Sherwin

It’s been a whirlwind few months for BackPageFootball.com as the site continues to grow and we thought we would share some facts and figures with you, the readers.

For those of you that don’t know, BackPageFootball.com was launched in August 2009.

The brainchild of Kevin Coleman, it has slowly but surely built up both a quality group of writers and a solid readership.

With any new venture it can take a while for it to succeed, but as you can see from the chart below, the site has really come along way since the beginning of this year.

Going on those statistics, the site has enjoyed almost a 600% increase in both Page Loads and Unique Visitors between January and May.

Our readership is quite widespread with the first majority located in Ireland and Great Britain, followed by the United States and Australia, and we’ve even had visitors from the most unlikely of places such as Angola, Vanuatu and the Cook Islands.

The articles on BackPageFootball.com have been very well received, and we now find ourselves being used as a source for other sites which is a credit to the writers we have.

There are plans in the pipeline to expand the site and brand name even more, and while we can’t go into too many details at the moment (for fearing of cursing it!), there are exciting times ahead.

So on behalf of all the team at BackPageFootball.com, thank you for reading and we look forward to your continued support.
