Irish midfielder Owen Garvan took to Twitter last night to voice his displeasure, presumably towards Ian Holloway, at being omitted from Crystal Palace’s 25-man squad for the Premier League season.
Garvan, 25, was a key member of the Palace squad that was promoted from the Championship last season. He has already featured in the Premier League as a substitute this time round and also scored in the League Cup defeat to Bristol City last week.
However, he is believed to be unhappy at not starting week in, week out and being left out of the squad appears to have been the final straw.
With the transfer window now closed, it would appear that Garvan’s only way out between now and January is via a temporary move to a team outside the top flight when the emergency loan window opens this month.
