Indeed, the point you stated about our inability to keep possession was a major factor in the battery of attacks England had to defend.

Italy were of course the deserved victors, but if there&#039;s one thing that I&#039;ve got out of this tournament as an England fan, it&#039;s that my expectations are much lower than they ever have been, in a positive way.

England are technically miles behind the best teams in Europe, let alone the world, and I&#039;m happy in the knowledge now that we are a work in progress, with a great deal of improvement required to mix it with the big boys.]]></description>
