This is an informative piece, it is easy to heap a lot of bad press on Man City and the choices that they have made recently and this has avoided that. The title is accurate, would it have made it easier for you if there was no question mark at the end and it was simply a statement?

Not a bad article, spoilt for me ‘tho by the “either/or” title – if you want to be taken seriously in future, lose the crappy sensationalist titles, and concentrate on more original insights and research – all of which is missing in this admittedly well-penned article.
to sum up, tell us something we don’t already know, in a way we hadn’t already thought of.

Thanks for the write-up. It really seems that City’s owners are in it for the long run. It will be interesting to see, in 10 – 15 years time, whether City will be churning out youth players be the dozen (or hundreds).

I can’t imagine other than positive feelings towards this initiative, were I living in Manchester. Seems like a major boost to the local economy.
