Video: Djimi Traore from downtown!
The Seattle Sounders came from behind to beat Tigres in the CONCACAF Champions League overnight but the real story was a wonder strike from a certain Djimi Traore.
Most people remember the Mail international from his days at Liverpool where he scored one of the best own goals in English football before picking up a Champions League winners’ medal.
Now 33, Traore struck a stunning volley from long distance as the Sounders came from 1-0 down on the night and 2-0 down on aggregate to see off Mexican side Tigres 3-2 overall.
The win moves the Sounders into the semi finals of the competition for the first time.
