Chelsea’s Loic Remy has completed a season-long loan move to fellow London-based Premier League side Crystal Palace.
The 29-year-old, who has also played in England for Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United, doesn’t feature in Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s plans at Stamford Bridge.
His acquisition gives Palace the opportunity to field a very exciting frontline that could include another new signing, Christian Benteke, as well as Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend.
This is a very good chance for me and a big opportunity. It was very important to know Alan Pardew as he is a very good manager and I am happy to be here.
Remy began his career in France with Lyon before having spells at Lens (loan), Nice and Marseille.
He has been capped 31 times at international level.
