Coutinho out for six weeks, Suarez will help fill the void

Brendan Rodgers will be wiping the relief off his brow after Victor Moses’ standout debut for Liverpool against Swansea City, as Philippe Coutinho has been ruled out for six weeks with a shoulder injury.

Coutinho sustained the injury in the same game and will undergo a procedure to rectify it.

With the imminent return of Luis Suarez and Victor Moses looking like a shrewd year-long loan signing, Liverpool should have enough to see through the six weeks with minimal upheaval. Liverpool will undoubtedly miss his guile and intelligence in the Brazilian’s new-found central position, but it will allow Suarez to readjust himself into the starting eleven.

Liverpool have confirmed Philippe Coutinho will undergo a procedure on the shoulder injury he sustained in Monday evening’s 2-2 draw with Swansea City.

  1. disgusted by Williams behaviour, how is he not punished is a big question… now, we have our best player out for a long time and the consequences might be the down turn in results for lfc … what a thug Williams is… idiot.

  2. Most important of my player are all off.May Allah purnish this guy called william.he william wl soon get injury til april nxt year By God grace.foolish william

  3. William did it deliberately. That was what he was instructed to do and so that’s what he did. It’s disgusting how Swansea has become. the new bully boys of football. “If we cant beat them, hack off their legs and send them to surgery” mentality.
