Costa Rica keeper Navas set for Bayern Munich switch

by Up Front

After performing superbly as part of the Costa Rica that won so many hearts at the World Cup, Keylor Navas looks to be heading to German giants Bayern Munich.

The 27-year-old currently plays for Levante in La Liga and will move for a reported €10 million.

Realistically though, how much game time can he expect as second choice to the undroppable Manuel Neuer?

Here’s Levante vice-president Tomas Perez on the move:

He’s going to one of the best teams in Europe and beyond and will surely enjoy playing there. He’ll have tough competition in Neuer. I’m happy for him, because I think he deserves this as a person and a player. He’s earned it. He had a phenomenal year.
