Competition Winners

by Neil Sherwin

The results are in for our two fantastic competitions which came courtesy of Setanta Ireland and FA Cup sponsors E.ON.

Last week the kind folk at Setanta offered a fantastic opportunity for our Republic of Ireland readers to win a year’s free satellite subscription.

We asked our readers to submit their favourite Premier League goal of all time and Darren O’Mahony is our lucky winner. Darren went for Dalian Atkinson’s goal for Aston Villa against Wimbledon in 1992, and it is also a favourite of the BPF team having been the subject of our Moments of Magic feature in the past.

We were also given the opportunity to give away two sets of tickets to this weekend’s FA Cup fourth round clash between giant killers Stevenage and Reading. Competition sponsors E.ON offered this superb prize and the winners are Stevenage supporters Greg Kett and Stuart Morris who spoke fondly of their side’s performances against Newcastle United in both round three and back in 1998.

Well done to Darren, Greg and Stuart, and keep an eye out for more competitions on the site soon!
