Cole is getting picked on reputation and not ability, been in decline and if Baines played for Man Utd or Chelsea people would be raving about him being the best lb in world football (which he is).

But I agree as a whole, he deserves to start now. His consistency for Everton is outstanding and he’s been one of the top chance creators in Europe for a while now, all from left-back.

And since they lost John Terry they also look mighty dodgey at the back.
