Carling Cup second round draw

Carling Cup Final: United Win On PenaltiesThe draw for the second round of the Carling Cup took place last night, with last season’s runners up Tottenham Hotspur paired with Doncaster Rovers.

Manchester City face a tricky trip to Crystal Palace, while West Ham will take on fellow Londoners Millwall.

Recently relegated Newcastle United drew Huddersfield Town who are managed by former St. James’ Park legend Lee Clark.

Ties will take place the week commencing August 24.

Clubs involved in Europe do not enter the competition until the third round.
