David Beckham is to join AC Milan for a second loan spell from LA Galaxy in January, according to a source at the Serie A giants.
Speaking to Sky Sport in Italy, Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani confirmed that a deal has been struck with the player and his US club.
“A great player will arrive,” he said.
“His first name is David. His last name is Beckham. It’s practically 100% certain.
“What’s missing is the signatures, but there is total agreement.”
Beckham played 18 times and scored two goals in his spell at Milan earlier this year.
With the World Cup in South Africa next year, the former England captain is keen to keep his match fitness as he battles for a place in Fabio Capello’s 23-man squad.
The Galaxy have qualified for the finals series of the MLS which reaches its conclusion next month.
