Arturo Vidal says he will not be joining Manchester United

With much speculation surrounding his future, Chilean Arturo Vidal has ruled out a move to one Premier League club.

Manchester United fans have been willing their club to splash the cash on Vidal but the midfielder has told Italian press that while he isn’t sure about his future at Juventus, a move to Old Trafford is not on the cards.

According to Italian newspaper Gazetta, Vidal spoke to reporters as he when he arrived back in Italy after a post-World Cup break.

I’ll talk to [Juventus coach Max] Allegri on Monday and then we will see. I haven’t spoken with Allegri or any of my team-mates yet, but I’m not going to Manchester.

  1. Actually this is what Vidal said word for word translation –

‘Are you going to put the Juve fans at ease and confirm you’re staying? (Laughs)

“I’m still on holidays, we’ll see starting from tomorrow.

You’re not going to Manchester (United) are you? – (Laughs) No, no.’

Have you spoken to Allegri yet? I haven’t heard from him or from my teammates yet. I don’t know yet if I’ll stay, I have to speak with Allegri first, but I’m happy here.”
