It is interesting to see how people can make up "facts" to suit whatever argument they want to make.

It is disingenuous to say "......at 1-0 and at 1-1, Arsenal’s midfield and defence looked quite shaky and while they may never have actually been on the ropes, the nervous tension in the air could have been cut with a knife."

Blackburn hardly got into the Arsenal half during the 1-0 period and, while we might have wondered where the second goal would come from. there was no palpable nervousness. I agree that we were a bit deflated to go back to 1-1 but that only lasted for a few minutes. Once we got to 2-1, there was absolutely no doubt who would go on to win.

I don't think that the defence or midfield looked shaky at any point in the game. The goal came from an expertly taken free kick, which was awarded to Modeste for his foul on Koscielny - watch it again and you'll see Modeste grab Kos and roll him out of the way of the ball.

I will concede that we are going to have more difficult games but we shouldn't seek to under-rate the good performances that we do have.
