Anderson is leaving Manchester Utd for Serie A

by Up Front

Reports are emerging that Anderson has left Manchester Utd after five seasons at the club.

The Brazilian has struggled to make an impact since his big money move from FC Porto, playing just over 100 games. He did win four Premier League trophies during his time in England however, as well as a Champions League medal in 2008.

Fiorentina are said to be signing Anderson, where he’ll join Giuseppe Rossi, Alberto Aquilani and Mario Gomez.

Anderson was often unfairly targeted by fans outside of the club. The 25-year-old broke his leg at Porto prior to his move, an excuse perhaps for his difficulty finding his feet and making a proper run at Old Trafford.
