Great team this! 29 here and remember this team as world beaters. They got the peaks of pretty much all the players here, all of which were considered to be potential best in the world at some point (mostly this point) of their careers.

I drove round to my Dutch dads house and watched the final with him. Kick off was about 2.30am in Australia.

The money in soccer these days makes it hard for Ajax to replicate this win.

Both myself and my brother got Ajax jerseys after this game. Mine had Ronald DeBoer, his has Frank.

Now that I live in Amsterdam I pine for the days when the team was this good.
