Valdes makes perfect sense to me. As a third-choice keeper, you could barely get anyone more confident, in-form and experienced in big games. Just in case he needs to be used. Plus he will feel he has something to prove after being overlooked for so long.

It was a toss-up between Guiza and Llorente for the fourth central striker spot. Guiza might be the better bet after all.
