I would probably have Van Den Brink in ahead of Thwaite but otherwise I have no complaints at all with that side.

Finally nice to read something that’s not gushing over Fred for once, too. Yes, he’s still a decent player, but he’s not what he was when he was first at the Victory. A lot of people still living in the past.

Clint Bolton of Melbourne Heart has been THE outstanding stopper in the league. I’d also give Fred the honourable mention in the central midfield position and Nick Carle the honourable mention in the attacking mid. But, a good list.
