Every side they came up against were absolutely massive and robust so it certainly was not hoof ball tactics that got them through.

Pete Mahon must be one of the most unlucky managers in Ireland. After success with Bohs he was let go and now having saved Pats from relegation in his 1st season and showed tremendous improvement last season he is shafted again.
Just not fair.

But two corrections – Stephen Hurley is 26 which could be considered youthful in many Profession but not football. Madden a right back, not a left winger so hardly going to replace McClean, but would agree a he is a very good player and will be missed in Oriel :(

Also think you’re under rating Bohs.. they’ve got some experience in the squad not just youngsters, and the likes of Ward, McMillan, Pender, Corcoran are all good players. As well as containing a a few basic grammatical mistakes, there is quite a lot of conjecture: “We all known Bohemians won’t be in a relegation dog fight..” How do know this for sure?.. “The mighty Cork” – what makes them so “mighty”? What about the second paragraph about Cork – all one sentence; any chance of a ful-stop in there at all?! More written about Monaghan than Shamrock Rovers and Sligo combined! Good luck and keep plugging away at the writing, but I think taking some of this constructive criticism on board in future articles would greatly improve the quality and the experience for the reader.
