The Premier League is completely different from La Liga and personally, the quality of football in La Liga is far better so I feel I got my view across well through this article and you are entitled to your own opinion and I respect that but to call my opinion delusional is disrespectful and unnecessary.

Thank you very much, this is the level I hope to continue writing at, you make a good point about Piqué there I suppose, he probably wouldn’t stand out in the Premier League and at Manchester United with the type of football they play, but it is all about the type of league that he is in, La Liga is more technical and he has the finishing of a class striker; see his goal vs Inter Milan last season (I think) for reference!

Fantastic piece, really hides your age well.

But in my opinion, Fergie was absolutely right to sell Pique. Pique is one of the best passing defenders in the world – but fire crosses at him and he will struggle. In the less physically demanding La Liga, Pique performs exceptionally and fits into Barca’s style well. But in England, he will struggle even against the likes of Kevin Davies, etc.
