12 years later: Zlatan’s first Sweden goal was very Zlatan

by Up Front

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a special kind of striker who scores special kind of goals. Who knew that his first international goal, back in October 2001, was just as Zlatan-y as his goals nowadays?

Watch him first win the ball in the air before receiving it back, dinking it twice and finding his strike partner, then getting into the six-yard box to hammer it home.

He’s gone on to score 45 more goals for his country, and is already in double digits for PSG this season. Next month he plays Portugal in a crucial double-legged World Cup play-off.
